Litigation Friend was granted £50,000 by the Legal Access Challenge to develop technology that would give employees greater access to justice. Litigation Friend’s mission is to help employees solve their employment disputes using a unique combination of tech and legal expertise.
Tara Grossman practised as an employment solicitor at one of the top UK law firms, Herbert Smith Freehills for 12 years.
Tara has more than a decade of experience advising large corporates and working in-house at some of the world's leading companies. She is now using this knowledge to help redress the balance between employer and employee.
After winning the £50,000 grant, Tara set-up Litigation Friend to assist employees with their employment claims.
Jake is an employment solicitor. He has worked at some of the top employment claimant law firms in the country and has first hand experience of fighting employment tribunal claims on behalf of employees.
Jake is also designing his own delicious alcoholic Kombucha drink...
Tom has a Computer Science BSc and over 12 years of experience building, maintaining and designing websites, with 7 years commercial experience.
Tom enjoys making use of the latest technologies and web standards. Tom's current interests and learning areas are Node.js, React, Javascript, Gatsby, Strapi and Tailwind CSS.
Tom has co-founded a vegan/vegetarian dating app called TofuTogether
