About Us
Litigation Friend was founded by Tara Grossman in 2021 based on her decades of experience working on employment disputes with both claimants and companies. She was granted £50,000 by the Legal Access Challenge to develop technology that would give employees greater access to justice. Litigation Friend’s mission is to help employees solve their employment disputes using a unique combination of tech and legal expertise.
Tara Grossman practised as an employment solicitor at one of the top UK law firms, Herbert Smith Freehills for 12 years.
Tara has more than a decade of experience advising large corporates and working in-house at some of the world's leading companies. She is now using this knowledge to help redress the balance between employer and employee.
After winning the £50,000 grant, Tara set-up Litigation Friend to assist employees with their employment claims.
Tom has a Computer Science BSc and over 15 years of experience building, maintaining and designing websites, with 10 years commercial experience.
Tom enjoys making use of the latest technologies and web standards. Tom's current interests and learning areas are Node.js, React, Javascript, Gatsby, Strapi and Tailwind CSS.
Tom has co-founded a vegan/vegetarian dating app called TofuTogether
Tamlyn is a commodity derivatives trader turned tech entrepreneur who is passionate about improving access to justice.
She believes that it takes a community to support a claimant through the arduous and emotionally challenging process of standing up for themselves when they have been subjected to often years of disparaging treatment.
She helps run the Litigation Friend community and supports litigants in person.
